Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical products across multiple product lines. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. The Assembler will also support continuous improvement initiatives using established manufacturing systems and processes.

 

Job Description

  • Assemble components across all product lines using the correct tools, fixtures, and procedures.
  • Perform testing of assembled products and troubleshoot issues related to assembly and functionality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Identify components and apply appropriate hand tools, rework techniques, and equipment.
  • Set dimensions and tolerances for mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Operate tools and systems such as Hytork, test pumps, and impact wrenches.
  • Create and maintain accurate labor records for all transactions in SAP.
  • Apply Manufacturing System principles and tools to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and environmental standards.

 

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant assembly or mechanical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with basic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to follow manufacturing procedures and record labor data
  • Certifications: Forklift, crane, H2s, HSE preferred
  • Tools/Systems: Hytork, Test Pump, Impact Wrench
  • BOP knowledge
  • Valves and chokes knowledge
  • SAP experience

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical degree required.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Schedule: 1st Shift - M-F 7:00am-6:00pm
