Job Summary

We are currently seeking for a Material Handler who picks/pulls materials from stock using computerized manufacturing work orders and pick lists.

 

Job Description

  • Receive purchased component items using JDE system
  • Put away all inbound materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory records on all raw materials; process all required paperwork pertaining to materials
  • Operate forklift to load and unload trucks as well as move materials
  • May be cross-trained in shipping function to assist shipping personnel as needed
  • Perform other duties as necessary

 

Skills Required

  • 2+ Years Material Handling experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Vantage Epicor
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Must work with sense of urgency
  • Effective communication and problem solving skills
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills
  • Must support and work in a team environment
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a frequent basis and be able to work standing and walking most of the day
  • Excellent attendance record and solid performance record

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • $16.21 - $24.31/hr depending on experience. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skill set and/or location.
