Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Nondestructive Examination (NDE) Technician to perform Magnetic Particle (MT), Penetrant (PT), and Positive Material Identification (PMI) inspections in compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will accurately interpret and document inspection results, ensure safety and quality requirements are met, and collaborate effectively with the project team. Additional NDE certifications and knowledge of standards such as ASME, API, or AWS are a plus.

 

Job Description

  • Perform MT, PT, and PMI inspections in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Interpret and document inspection results accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.

Skills Required

  • Experience with PMI equipment and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, API, AWS).
  • Physically able to perform inspections in various environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoors).

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Certified in MT and PT (ASNT Level II or equivalent).
  • Additional NDE certifications preferred (UT, RT, VT)
