Job Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for transporting incoming freight from staging areas to designated inventory locations within the warehouse, replenishing pick slots, and maintaining accurate inventory flow.

Job Description

• Review daily work schedules, conduct safety checks on equipment, obtain required supplies, and prepare for warehouse operations.
• Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area in a safe, efficient manner.
• Check product for damages and alert receivers, if necessary.
• Secure all equipment and complete required documentation at the end of each shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills Required

• Completion of forklift and/or power jack training with certification.
• Warehouse experience operating a forklift, preferred
• Ability to bend, twist, stand, sit, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials as required by the role.

Education

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Additional Requirements

• OSHA Forklift Operator Certification preferred
• 1st Shift: starting at 5am

Pay Rate

• $15 per hour
