Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Bilingual HR Clerk. You will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Business Partner. This role involves assisting with the day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties, including record-keeping, data entry, and employee communication. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality.

 

Job Description

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Support the coordination of training sessions and HR events.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to organize and identify information for new and current employees coming onto the program.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, and mailing.
  • Assist with the preparation of HR reports and presentations.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and submitting for background checks.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as onboarding materials, policy updates, etc.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, such as absences, bonus, and leaves. 
  • This position will be stationed at the front desk, focused mainly on administrative tasks while assisting with onboarding.
  • The clerk will also support the onsite project clerk contractor.

 

Skills Required

  • Bilingual in Spanish & English 
  • Strong communication & organization skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous HR onboarding experience is a must
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with HR software and databases is an advantage.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio preferred but not required 
  • Previous background in construction / engineering
  • Previous knowledge of SAP or SuccessFactors
  • Background in craft recruitment

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Human Resources or related field is a plus.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Working Hours at a minimum are 730AM – 5PM (Tuesday onboarding days need to be at site by 7AM)
