Job Summary
The Government Property Specialist supports inventory control and government property management activities within a warehouse environment. This role assists with physical inventory counts, material disposition, and maintenance of accurate inventory records in compliance with project management and procurement direction. The position operates under strict regulatory and security requirements.
Job Description
- Assist in the physical count and disposition of project materials as approved by Project Management and directed by Procurement supervision
- Prepare and maintain inventory control records
- Enter excess cases into the PIEE system for disposition by the GPA
- Log all excess cases into the excess log tracker
- Follow detailed instructions with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Skills Required
- Must be trained and certified in the operation of Forklifts/personnel lifts (training provided).
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be proficient in following direction and paying close attention to details.
- Eligibility to be placed in a CPRP or UAP position
- Must favorably complete screenings including but not limited to: a National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC), security investigation, drug/alcohol testing, and medical examination.
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Degree or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
Additional Requirements
- US Citizenship required.
- All employees are subject to and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of continued employment for the duration of their assignment.
- Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check.
Pay Rate/Salary
- Pay Rate $32-50/hr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
