Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Processing Buyer to join our procurement team in Tulsa. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of purchase orders, ensuring all internal requirements are met while maintaining strong commercial standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ERP systems and a proactive approach to customer service and supplier communication.

 

Job Description

  • Enter, place, and manage purchase orders and contracts within the ERP system (SAP/Oracle) to meet internal customer needs.
  • Review all purchase requests to ensure they include clearly defined quotes and effectively communicate requirements to potential suppliers.
  • Manage blanket orders to ensure expiration dates do not lapse; establish new blanket orders or contracts where commercially beneficial.
  • Ensure all transactions maximize savings and adhere to the approved supplier list.
  • Protect company interests by ensuring sound commercial and legal terms are incorporated into every purchase order or contract.
  • Utilize Google Workspace tools for daily communication, reporting, and scheduling.

 

Skills Required

  • Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience using SAP or Oracle R2 procurement and reporting modules.
  • Advanced skills in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive, Slides, and Calendar).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple contract deadlines simultaneously.

 

Education

  • Highschool diploma or GED

 

Pay Rate

  • $20.65 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)

 

Additional Requirements

  • Hybrid 3 Days in Tulsa office, 2 days remote
