Job Summary

The Technology Quality Technician is responsible for executing quality control activities to ensure that products and systems meet defined standards and specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, tests, and documentation of results while ensuring compliance with the organization’s Quality Management System. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of technical, analytical, and practical skills, with a deep understanding of how quality performance impacts overall equipment and system reliability.

 

Job Description

  • Inspect documentation, parts, components, materials, subassemblies, and finished equipment against stated specifications using calibrated measurement systems with verified repeatability and reproducibility.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable inspection procedures and standard work.
  • Perform manufacturing and engineering tests in accordance with established procedures and standard work.
  • Assist in designing test methods, fixtures, and setups to support product verification.
  • Conduct all inspection and testing activities safely and in alignment with company safety standards.
  • Contribute to the creation and review of Hazard Analyses and Risk Control documentation for inspection and test activities.
  • When authorized, perform calibration of measurement and test systems to maintain accuracy and reliability.
  • Maintain familiarity with inspection and test procedures, standard work, and test plans, providing input for continuous improvement.
  • Apply Manufacturing System principles and tools to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Record inspection and test results accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify data stability and consistency over time where feasible.

 

Skills Required

  • Hands-on experience with inspection, measurement, and testing tools.
  • Working knowledge of quality control methodologies and quality management systems (QMS).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering disciplines.

 

Pay Rate

  • $23 per hour
