Job Summary

We are looking for a hard-working and committed In-Plant Technician to join our client's team. 

 

Job Description

  • Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed the customer’s specifications.   
  • Perform color matching and formulation. 
  • Maintain detailed production and QC records.
  • Support customer’s schedule through production coordination.
  • Identifies and execute at a high level any rework opportunities based on review of batch tickets.
  • Provide strong press side technical service, troubleshoot problems, and provide detailed and consistent technical reporting.   
  • Maintain monthly and weekly reporting to CTS and Sales organization.
  • Maintain housekeeping and safe operations
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. buckets; and move 500 lb. drums following operating procedures. 
  • Shift: 6:00AM - 2:00PM

 

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook; as well as dispensing and color match software
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs. throughout the day
  • This is a customer facing position that requires a high degree of interpersonal skill
  • Able to stand for longer periods of time.

 

Education and Experience Required

  • Highschool diploma / GED
  • 1+ years industry experience

 

Salary

  • $20 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
