Job Summary!

To provide customers with on-site equipment service for the portfolio of Radiology equipment including preventive maintenance, emergency service, and installation support service. This position is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction while achieving business objectives. Willingness to acquire and use sales skills is required.
Job Description
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations at end-user customer sites following approved procedures and documentation.
- Utilize available resources and technical expertise to effectively troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
- Organize daily work schedules and coordinate with territory teammates to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain and manage mobile inventory by organizing, re-ordering, and ensuring proper return of defective or used items for refurbishment or replenishment.
- Maximize equipment uptime and ensure quality workmanship to minimize repeat service visits.
- Generate service revenue through the promotion of Service Programs and Billable Services.
- Collaborate with Territory Service Inside Sales teammates to develop and complete service quotes.
- Communicate with end users, purchasing agents, and asset managers to finalize sales and service opportunities.
- Identifying and relay sales leads to respective sales representatives for new products or upgrading opportunities.
- Complete work orders accurately to ensure customer billing aligns with company policies
- Maintain company-assigned vehicles, calibration tools, special equipment, and stock inventory.
- Safeguard all proprietary information, including service manuals, diagnostic software, calibration tools, and company-issued devices.
- Key Working Relationships
- End-user customer
- Healthcare facility and support personnel (doctors, administrators, purchasing agents, dealers, etc.)
- Sales, Clinical Support, Service Marketing, and Customer Service teams
- U.S. Service Operations team, including Technical Assistance Center, Service Support, Technical and Field Operations, Service Specialists, and Engagement Management
- Service Repair Center
Skills Required
- Prior work experience in a hospital setting or in customer service is preferred
- Ability to perform operational verification procedures, preventive maintenance, and repair services on various equipment
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment with strong skills in prioritizing, scheduling, and organizing work activities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to use company-specific workforce and customer relationship management software
Education/Training/Certifications
- Associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Equipment Technology, IT Networking, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred
- Equivalent military training in areas such as Electronics, Aviation, IT, or Computer Science with at least 2 years of applicable experience will also be considered
- High school diploma/GED with related training or certifications and 3 years of applicable experience may also qualify
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
- Shift: 08:00 AM
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory (up to 70%) locally and regionally, including occasional overnight stays or extended travel based on territory assignments and training requirements
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule
- Physical requirements: able to lift and/or push over 50 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods; and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, squat, kneel, crawl, sit, and stand for long durations
- Must possess a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license
Pay Rate/Salary
- Estimated Salary: $48.23 to $53.23 per hour based on qualifications.
