Job Summary
The main function of a Precision Assembler is to perform assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) to produce FDA regulated devices in a controlled work environment.
Job Description
- Learn and carry out detailed work instructions
- Assemble components to include gluing, weaving, packaging, coiling, welding using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic presses
- Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes
- Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions
- Promote and support a safe working environment
- Inform team lead/supervisor of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment or processes
- Supports and promotes LEAN operations by following standard work to include Safety Observations, Idea Generation and Hour by Hour Board updates
- Meet quality assurance requirements and complete documentation associated with same

Skills Required
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
- Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment
- Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
Education/Training/Certifications
- High school diploma or GED required

- Schedule notes: 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday (3:30 PM to 1:30 AM)
