Job Summary

The Credit Management Analyst oversees customer credit and risk for Client’s America Remainco business, ensuring compliance with corporate policies. The role includes evaluating credit limits, monitoring exposure, supporting trade credit insurance, and managing accounts receivable, while collaborating with internal teams to optimize credit decisions and Order-to-Cash processes.

 

Job Description

  • Perform credit limit evaluation by following the Global Risk Assessment Model (GRAM) and the MAS approval Matrix with necessary justifications for new or existing customers
    • Gather qualitative information from an open channel while the financial statement is not available
    • Provide practicable alternative suggestions when the allowable limit cannot fulfill business needs
  • Regular review of credit limit and bank facility (such as letter of credit, standby-LC) to ensure validity is in line with credit policy
    • Trigger necessary discussion with internal or external stakeholders for those with creditworthiness that is close to expiring date
    • Engagement with Treasury and Legal team regarding the clause revision for bank facility and corporate guarantee to protect the Client's right and interest.
  • Support and cooperate with Treasury-S&L Insurance to monitor Trade Credit insurance-related activities, including application, extension, and claim
    • Obtain supplementary materials from customers based on the underwriter's request to maintain a sufficient insured limit to support business needs
    • Facility on-site visit or conference call among the client, sales, and S&L Insurance to clarify the concern point and follow up with S&L Insurance to strive for insurance coverage to support business development
  • Perform quarterly bad debts provision posting in accordance with the AR aging report and reconciliation
    • Collect the supporting documents to obtain legal endorsement for the write-off process
  • Support Sales on quotations, including but not limited to defining financing & payment methods, establishing commercial terms & contracts
    • Quarterly reconcile the rebate accrual accounts
  • Create sundry invoices, such as demurrage charge, scrap sales, etc., and credit/debit memos
  • Ad-hoc activities assigned by the reporting manager to support running and maintaining or improving the Order to Cash process.

 

Skills Required

  • Credit risk assessment and management
  • Knowledge of Global Risk Assessment Models (GRAM) and credit approval matrices
  • Trade credit insurance processes and coordination
  • Knowledge of corporate credit policies and regulatory compliance
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Order-to-Cash (OTC) process knowledge
  • Ability to handle ad-hoc tasks and process improvements  


Education/Training/Certifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience      

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check 


Pay Rate/Salary

  • $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors
