Job Summary 

The Electronic Technician is responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery and readiness of equipment to meet operational demands. This role focuses on improving maintenance efficiency, reducing nonproductive time, and increasing asset reliability within the Maintenance Base (MB). The Electronic Technician supports continuous improvement initiatives that enhance asset utilization, cost of service delivery, and overall maintenance productivity.

Job Description 

 

  • Maintain assigned equipment in accordance with the applicable maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
  • Adhere to standard work processes and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure accurate and timely maintenance execution.
  • Follow transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems, including recording materials, labor costs, equipment movements, work orders, parts usage, and maintenance history.
  • Ensure compliance with TLM Product Line standards and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Maintenance Base to improve asset utilization, efficiency, and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
  • Support efforts to reduce asset turnaround time by minimizing downtime related to maintenance, parts availability, return authorizations, failures, and work-in-process.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.
  • Implement CoSD projects, including planned repair and reuse of parts.
  • Participate in equipment failure investigations as assigned.
  • Comply with the TLM Competency Management System requirements.

Skills Required 

  • Two-year IT or Computer-related degree or equivalent on-the-job training
  • Working knowledge of multimedia systems and computer applications
  • Basic proficiency with standard computer software

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check
  • Adhere to company guidelines regarding COVID compliance
  • Mileage reimbursement available when traveling using a personal vehicle
  •  

Pay Rate

  • $22 per hour 
  • Overtime is optional
