Job Summary

Responsibilities include supporting plant trials, inoculation processes, disease assessment, and maintaining lab and chamber cleanliness. Job Description

• Prepare testing supplies
• Culture inoculum (fungi preferred experience but not required)
• Planting and plant care
• Perform inoculation procedures
• Conduct disease assessments
• Clean laboratories and growth chambers
• Work in clean lab and growth chamber environments
• Report to a supervisor or manager

Skills Required

• 1–3 Attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
• Flexibility and reliability
• Experience with sterile technique (preferred)
• Experience culturing fungi (preferred)
• Experience in plant care or plant pathology/nematology (an asset)

Education/Training/Certifications

• Experience with sterile technique (preferred)
• Background in plant care, plant pathology, or nematology (preferred)

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background checks
• Work Shift Start Time: 08:00 AM
• Work environment includes lab settings and growth chambers with varying temperatures
• Exposure to dusty, warm, and strictly clean conditions
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (moving sand trays independently)

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary: $16.36 to $24.36per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
