Job Summary

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician is needed to support daily operations within a US Onshore Regional Laboratory. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience in an analytical laboratory environment while contributing to high standards of testing, data integrity, and operational efficiency.

 

Job Description

  • Support routine laboratory testing and sample preparation following established procedures
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks, including: Sample receipt, labeling, preparation, and pre-analysis handling, Solution preparation, weighing, and general bench work
  • Accurately document work in laboratory notebooks, logs, and digital systems (e.g., LIMS)
  • Enter and verify sample and test data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with sample storage, retention, and disposal in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and inspection readiness
  • Support inventory management by restocking supplies, tracking materials, and assisting with counts and orders
  • Assist with routine equipment cleaning, checks, and basic maintenance
  • Participate in QA/QC activities and support audits as directed
  • Perform basic risk assessments prior to tasks to identify safety or quality concerns
  • Follow all health, safety, environmental (HSE), and quality procedures, including proper use of PPE

 

Skills Required

  • Less than two years of relevant laboratory or technical experience
  • Interest in laboratory work and willingness to learn technical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework or hands-on experience in a scientific setting (e.g., chemistry classes, technical training, or college labs)
  • Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and procedures
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

 

Education

  • Minimum: High school diploma or GED

 

Pay Rate

  • $25 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)

 

Additional Details

  • Shift:  Day shift, Monday - Friday 40hr work week with some potential overtime. 8-5 or 7-4 with 1hr lunch
