Job Summary
A Senior Business Analyst plays a crucial role in helping organizations achieve their business goals by analyzing processes and identifying areas for improvement. They bridge the gap between technical teams and business departments to ensure that functional specifications meet business needs.
Job Description
- Identify business needs of stakeholders and develop solutions for business problems.
- Design and implement strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data requirements.
- Convert business needs into functional requirements and guide the design of technology solutions.
- Work with managers and other staff to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Present and explain findings to leadership.
- Track and document changes to functional and business specifications
- Play a key role in the testing and roll-out of new software or technology solutions.
- Create detailed reports and give presentations to relevant stakeholders.
- Continuously stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive
Skills Required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- Ability to analyze complex data and business processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address business challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to interact with stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Knowledge of relevant software and technology solutions (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools).
- Understanding of system architecture and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in analysis and documentation.
- Ability to track and document changes to business processes and requirements.
- Understanding of business operations and industry trends.

Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
