These sites support 24/7 production of highly specialized technology components used across multiple industries. The campuses include clean-room environments, engineering labs, and high-volume production lines that require a diverse, skilled workforce.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing process equipment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and maximum uptime.
Job Description
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs), Diffusion Furnace and chamber cleans, and related activities.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair process equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly.
- Document all maintenance activities daily in electronic tracking systems.
- Follow, review, and assist in revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Work collaboratively with team members to improve the operating efficiency of processing equipment and increase availability for production.
- Maintain 5S standards within the organization.
Skills Required
- Strong technical background with proven mechanical experience (including bolting procedures) and some electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Capable of working in a team environment and using limited leadership skills to achieve aggressive goals and timelines.
- Ability to perform moderate data analysis.
- Ability to lift items greater than 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for approximately 11 hours per day.
Preferred Skills:
- Semiconductor experience is highly preferred, specifically with:
- Diffusion Kokusai and TEL Furnaces
- AMAT mainframes (equipped with RTP and EPI chambers)
- TEL Trias platforms (with SPA chambers)
Education/Training/Certifications
- Associate degree or higher is required.
Additional Requirements
- Schedule: This role requires working a compressed work week on 12-hour shifts. You will work 3 days one week and 4 days the following week, which includes working every other weekend.
- A Shift (Day): Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
Pay rate
- Starting at $21.00 per hour and more depending on experience
