Job Description

  • Support Regulatory studies through lab-based and inventory-related tasks
  • Receive and inventory plant sample materials (seed and plant parts)
  • Organize, place, and retrieve inventories from ambient storage, 4°C and -20°C coolers, warehouse areas, and -80°C freezers
  • Create and ship plant sampling kits
  • Aliquot and package seed for distribution
  • Prepare seed for downstream molecular analysis
  • Enter data into corporate data systems accurately
  • Assist with sample preparation using specialized milling equipment
  • Rotate between workflow roles as proficiency increases
  • Operate various laboratory equipment as required
  • Follow EPA GLP, USDA-APHIS, and international regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain accurate documentation in both electronic and manual systems

  • Ability to follow detailed process instructions accurately

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in varying conditions
  • Ability to accurately document laboratory activities and sample handling in electronic and manual systems

  • Reliability and consistency in maintaining compliance and procedural accuracy

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Training will be provided for compliance with GLP and USDA-APHIS requirements
  • Understanding of production plans, protocols, and SOPs related to seed and sample handling (training provided)

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
  • Shift: 08:00 AM

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Estimated Salary: $21.00 to $29.88 per hour based on qualifications.
