Job Summary

The Technology Quality Technician is responsible for performing quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and reporting results. This role combines hands-on technical skills with an understanding of quality management systems to ensure that products and components meet required specifications and performance standards.

Job Description

• Inspect documentation, parts, materials, components, subassemblies, and equipment against specifications using calibrated measurement tools
• Perform manufacturing and engineering tests in accordance with established procedures and standard work
  
• Assist in the design, setup, and execution of test fixtures and inspection processes
  
• Accurately document inspection and test results and monitor consistency over time
  
• Ensure all inspection and testing activities are conducted safely
  
• Participate in hazard analysis and risk control activities related to testing and inspection
  
• Perform calibration of measurement systems when authorized
  
• Review and provide input on inspection procedures, test plans, and standard work for continuous improvement
  
• Apply continuous improvement principles to enhance quality and efficiency

Skills Required

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records
  
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
  
• Understanding of quality systems and inspection processes
  
• Commitment to safety and compliance standards
  
• Frequent handling of mechanical components (e.g., pipes)
  
• Regular use of mechanical lifting aids
  
• Multiple lifts per shift
  
• No unassisted lifting over 50 lbs

Education

• Highschool diploma or GED

Pay Rate

• $24 - $26 per hour (Compensation will be offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)

Additional Requirements

• Schedule: 2nd shift (M-TH 2:30pm-12:30am) - Training will be on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks
• Preferred: Experience in quality inspection or quality control environments
  
• Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
  
• Preferred: Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  
• Preferred: Experience with mechanical lifting and handling of components
