Job Summary

We are looking for individual to join our client’s team as Ultrasound Technologist – RDMS Registered. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonography procedures in an acute care setting. This role requires expertise in general ultrasound imaging, patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The technologist will ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation in accordance with established protocols and standards.

 

Job Description

  • Perform general diagnostic ultrasound examinations in compliance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Provide patient care and education before, during, and after procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain proper functionality.
  • Accurately document and record imaging procedures and patient data in the EPIC system.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
  • Follow established safety standards, infection control, and quality assurance guidelines.

 

Skills Required

  • At least one year of General Registered Ultrasound experience
  • Experience in an acute care setting required.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Completion of an appropriate training program for Ultrasound Technologist to include Military Training. 
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) – Required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Shift: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, holidays required and rotating weekends 

 

 Pay Rate

  • $57-$67.00 per hour, based on experience, skills and market factors
