Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble and test electronic products, troubleshoot assembly issues, and ensure components meet quality and performance standards. The position requires experience with printed circuit board assembly, soldering techniques, and the ability to read technical drawings.
Job Description
- Assemble components across multiple product lines using appropriate tools and fixtures.
- Perform printed circuit board (PCB/PWA) assembly and soldering in accordance with established standards.
- Test assembled products and troubleshoot issues related to assembly and functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, design drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Identify electronic components and verify correct placement during assembly.
- Use microscopes for detailed inspection and soldering work for extended periods.
- Detect and correct solder defects using proper rework techniques.
- Operate assembly equipment and ensure proper dimensioning and tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Maintain accurate labor and production records for all work performed.
- Follow quality standards and manufacturing procedures to ensure product reliability.
- Utilize manufacturing system tools and principles to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills Required
- 2–3 years of assembly experience, preferably in electronic or circuit board manufacturing.
- IPC-610 certification preferred
- Circuit board assembly and soldering experience
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and schematics
- Electronic component identification
- Understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures
- Ability to work with a microscope for extended periods
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with SAP or similar systems
Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Pay Rate
- $19.50 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)l
