Job Summary

A Senior Human Resource Generalist is an experienced HR professional who manages a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll processing, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. They act as a vital link between employees and management, often providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, while also administering HR programs, coordinating training, and maintaining Human Resource Information Systems.

 

Job Description

  • Coordinate and facilitate full-cycle recruitment (recruitment, onboarding, offboarding)
  • Maintains HRIS (ADP)
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Provides counsel and support to employees/managers/supervisors on HR policy application and production
  • Conduct ER investigations and work with leadership team to execute plans to address problem areas
  • Creates and develops models sustaining positive employee relations and positive culture building
  • Performance Management
  • Training and Development
  • Creates and implements effective SOPs, policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to align with business goals
  • Provides HR support to operations safety programs, initiatives and processes
  • Processes FMLA, Workers Compensation, TWC programs
  • Manage entire payroll cycle (data entry, calculations, and ensuring accurate timely disbursement)
  • Some travel may be required

 

Skills Required

  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Self-sufficient
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of payroll processes and regulations
  • Skilled at conflict resolution
  • High discretion and ethics
  • Organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Team player. Able to communicate and relate well with others

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field

 

Additional Requirements

  • Physical Requirements:
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Occasional lifting of office supplies or equipment up to 20 pounds
    • Ability to move around the office for daily tasks and meetings
