Job Summary

The Equipment Readiness Technician plays a key role in ensuring operational equipment is prepared, maintained, and delivered on time to support field operations. This position focuses on improving the reliability, utilization, and efficiency of equipment assets while helping reduce the overall Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD).

 

Job Description

  • Assist the Equipment Readiness Lead and Engineers with preparing equipment for upcoming operational jobs
  • Execute assigned Work Orders (WOs) related to noninvasive maintenance and final preparation of surface and downhole equipment and ready boxes
  • Verify equipment certifications and calibration status prior to deployment
  • Perform or assist with final function testing, including: Calibration and measurement verification, Equipment inspection and certification, Pressure testing, Metrological inspections, Wireline operational combination checks
  • Execute work orders within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) while ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain compliance with standard maintenance procedures and documentation requirements
  • Assist in preparing and organizing documentation for: Equipment calibrations, Function tests, Material certifications, Equipment inspections, Third-party quality control reviews when required
  • Prepare equipment and critical spare parts for shipment and staging
  • Stage equipment in designated loading zones for transport
  • Load equipment onto trucks when operational or planning support is unavailable
  • Assist with organizing equipment and materials within the facility
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving equipment readiness processes, asset utilization, and operational efficiency
  • Contribute to efforts that reduce Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD) through improved maintenance and preparation practices
  • Follow lifecycle management standards and competency development programs

 

Skills Required

  • Previous experience in industrial warehouse environments preferred
  • Forklift operation experience preferred (training available if needed)
  • Ability to operate forklifts (standard and specialty forklifts) or willingness to be trained
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail when performing inspections and documentation
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • High level of integrity and reliability
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
  • Frequent lifting of tools and equipment up to 50 lbs individually
  • Team lifting up to 100 lbs
  • Repetitive loading and unloading of equipment into shipping crates
  • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and equipment handling
  • Regular operation of forklifts and material handling equipment throughout the shift

 

Education/Training/Certification

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Additional Details

  • Shift: 14 days on / 6 days off rotation

 

Pay Rate

  • $20 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
