Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production while supporting service delivery to customers. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, assisting with maintenance activities, and identifying opportunities to improve operational processes.
Job Description
- Participate in pre-job and toolbox meetings with team members to review work plans and safety requirements.
- Operate machinery and equipment according to procedures, competency levels, and job requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance activities for assigned equipment and work areas.
- Ensure equipment is maintained according to company procedures, reporting any issues, problems, or deviations.
- Assist in ensuring equipment and production activities are completed on time to meet operational demands.
- Maintain shop and field equipment in safe working condition.
- Support failure investigations when necessary to help identify root causes and prevent future issues.
- Use manufacturing system principles and tools to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Shift: 2nd 2:30pm - 11pm
Skills Required
- Previous machine operating experience is not required, but it is welcomed.
- Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for higher starting pay.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
- Dependable and able to work the assigned 2nd shift schedule.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Pay Rate
- $19 per hour (Compensation will be offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
- $1 shift premium for 2nd shift
