Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HSE Learning and Development Content Creator to develop and enhance engaging training content focused on improving workforce safety, reducing operational risk, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. This role will design and deliver high-impact learning solutions that drive measurable improvements in safety performance across industrial and compliance-driven environments.

 

Job Description

  • Design, develop, and update interactive safety and compliance training programs.
  • Create engaging e-learning modules using industry-standard authoring tools.
  • Translate regulatory and technical information into clear, learner-focused content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of materials.
  • Develop multimedia assets including video, audio, graphics, and interactive elements.
  • Ensure all content aligns with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Manage multiple training projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and performance data.

 

Skills Required

  • Certifications in Instructional Design or Adult Learning preferred.
  • Experience in instructional design, content development, or learning and development.
  • Experience supporting safety, compliance, or industrial sectors (e.g., construction, oil & gas) is strongly preferred.
  • Intermediate to expert-level content creation skills.
  • Strong project management abilities with the capacity to work independently.
  • Required Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Expertise in Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Captivate.
  • Experience with multimedia production and editing tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of video and audio production workflows.
  • Adobe Creative Suite knowledge with: Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Adobe Captivate (standalone application), Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline)
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles
  • Ability to simplify complex regulatory and technical information
  • Creative problem-solving and innovation in digital learning
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing workload independently

Education

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Learning & Development, or a related field preferred.

 

Pay Rate

  • $55 - $65 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)

 

Additional Requirements

Candidate will use his personal computer. The computer will require the minimum specifications:

  • Processor: Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 (newer generation preferred)
  • RAM: 16GB (32GB is highly recommended, especially for video editing)
  • Storage: 512GB SSD (1TB SSD is ideal for larger projects and faster performance)
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 will help with rendering and video editing.
  • However, for "light" video editing, integrated graphics (like Intel Iris Xe) might suffice.
  • Display: Dual monitor setup
  • Operating System: Windows 10/11 or macOS (latest versions)
