Job Summary

We seeking an experienced Industrial Radiographer to join our team in Ingleside, TX. This is a full-time, permanent position supporting ongoing energy and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with gamma radiography, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to perform high-quality inspections in a dynamic field environment. Candidates with trainer status and additional NDE certifications are highly preferred.

 

Job Description

  • Perform industrial radiographic testing (RT) using gamma sources in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensure strict compliance with radiation safety standards and procedures
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic equipment
  • Interpret radiographs in accordance with applicable codes and specifications
  • Maintain accurate inspection reports and exposure records
  • Work closely with field teams, QA/QC personnel, and client representatives
  • Support and promote a strong safety culture on all job sites
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians (preferred for trainer-level candidates)

 

Skills Required

  • Demonstrated experience performing gamma radiography in industrial environments
  • Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, etc.)
  • Ability to work in field conditions, including overtime and travel if needed
  • State Radiography Trainer certification (Trainer status)
  • Additional NDE certifications including PT, MT, UTT, PMI, and FT
  • Visual Inspection (VT) certification strongly preferred
  • Multi-method Level II or higher certifications

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Current Radiographer certification
  • 40-hour Radiation Safety Course (RAD Safety) required

 

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment as required
