Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for executing the handling and movement of materials and products within the warehouse in accordance with established company procedures, safety standards, and quality policies. This role ensures the accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory, supporting operational efficiency and compliance across warehouse operations.

 

Job Description

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying items against supplier packing lists and purchase orders.
  • Label, store, pick, pack, and issue inventory items as required.
  • Report discrepancies in received shipments promptly.
  • Prepare outgoing materials with correct documentation and secure packaging.
  • Optimize warehouse layout by improving bin locations to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in all warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts.
  • Support materials management initiatives such as Kitting and Kanban replenishment.
  • Resolve inventory and warehouse issues as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Operate a stand-up pallet jack or other material handling equipment (training provided).
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and comply with TLM systems and standards.
  • Load/off-load equipment and move materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including QHSE standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Education

  • Highschool diploma or GED

 

Pay Rate

  • $18 per hour and higher depending on experience

 

Additional Details

  • Stand-Up Pallet Jack (Training provided)
  • Training period of 30-90 days
  • PPE Provided: Hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, coveralls, safety boots
