Job Summary

The Quality Control Operator is responsible for ensuring Product Line equipment is prepared, maintained, and delivered on time to meet operational demands. This role focuses on improving equipment reliability, asset utilization, and operational efficiency while contributing to the reduction of Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD). The operator works closely with engineering and equipment readiness teams to ensure compliance with quality, maintenance, and documentation standards.

 

Job Description

  • Support the Equipment Readiness Lead and Engineers in preparing equipment for operational jobs.
  • Perform non-invasive maintenance related to the final preparation of surface and downhole equipment, including ready boxes.
  • Execute assigned work orders through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring adherence to standard work procedures and accuracy and completeness of work order data.
  • Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining quality and technical documentation, including calibrations, functional tests, material certifications, inspections, and coordination of third-party quality control inspections when required.
  • Prepare equipment and critical spare parts for shipment, staging, and loading at designated locations.
  • Perform equipment shipping, receiving, and associated mechanical lifting tasks in the absence of Shared Base Support (SBS).
  • Receive and process equipment returning to the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) base following offloading.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment readiness, productivity, asset utilization, and reducing Cost of Service Delivery through effective maintenance practices.
  • Comply with TLM standards, procedures, and the Competency Management System at all times.

 

Skills Required

  • Experience in equipment maintenance, quality control, or operations within an industrial or technical environment.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to handle documentation and compliance-related tasks accurately.
  • Capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to support logistics, shipping, and handling activities as required.

Education

  • High school diploma or GED

 

Pay Rate

  • $27 per hour
