Job Summary

We are seeking a Principal Data Analytics Consultant with strong Python and Snowflake SQL expertise to build scalable analytics solutions in manufacturing and supply chain environments. The role involves working with ERP/MRP data, developing interactive dashboards, and translating business needs into data-driven insights. Ideal candidates bring hands-on technical execution, cloud and CI/CD experience, and a strong focus on driving business impact.

Job Description

  • Hands-on experience working with ERP data and operational processes including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and demand-to-deliver
  • Proven ability to communicate complex or technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL; experience wrangling large relational datasets
  • Strong proficiency with Snowflake as a data platform
  • Strong proficiency in dashboarding and interactive visualizations, including Power BI, SIGMA, Qliqview, or Streamlit
  • Experience deploying enterprise-scale solutions in cloud environments
  • Proficient in at least one data visualization library such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly
  • Familiarity with agile development best practices (model training and validation), CI/CD pipeline implementation
  • Able to implement and manage GitHub repositories and automations, including developing automated github workflows to move python projects and Snowflake development (queries, procedures, data structures, and data) from dev to test to prod environments
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business impact and ROI through analytics
  • Capable of executed-level communication and influence
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical projects that accomplish business objectives and achieve business value
  • Experience developing and deploying scalable enterprise-grade containerized solutions, interactive front-ends, and back-ends using service accounts, APIs, safe handling of developer keys, and development best practices
  • Experience with test-drive development (TDD), deploying project safety into production with roll-back options, and other common development best practices

Business Process Fluency (Manufacturing/Supply Chain)

  • ERP and MSP systems and data structures
  • Understanding of operational workflows in manufacturing and supply chain (Order-to-cash, Procure-to-pay, Demand-to-deliver)
  • Enterprise=scale process understanding

 

Skills Required

  • Five or more years of professional data science experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain environments
  • Hands-on Snowflake SQL experience
  • Hands-on Python experience
  • Previous experience with Sigma, Qliqview, Streamlit, PowerBI, or similar analytics app development
  • At least 3 years experience working with ERP or MRP Data
  • ERP Implementations for finance or operations and business intelligence experience are highly valued
  • Rapid application development (RAD) experience is highly valued
  • The client will be doing agile sprints to manage projects to develop analytics and code with daily touch-bases, weekly sprint planning, and ad-hoc additional meetings as needed. Some agile project familiarity would be helpful

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check
  • Work Schedule:
    • 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (8 hours a day). Flexible on start and end time
    • Hybrid available: 3 days on-site; 2 days remote per week

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • $110.00 - $120.00/hr. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors
