Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee and coordinate environmental and emergency response operations in the field. The role ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with HAZMAT and confined-space regulations, while leading and mentoring field crews. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and experience in industrial or environmental services.

 

Job Description

  • Supervise and coordinate field operations for environmental and emergency response projects across industrial sites
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with HAZMAT, confined-space, and other regulatory requirements
  • Oversee industrial cleaning, waste handling, and contaminated material removal, transportation, and disposal
  • Lead, train, and mentor field staff to maintain high performance and adherence to safety standards
  • Monitor project progress, schedule resources, and communicate updates to management and clients
  • Maintain accurate records of field activities, incidents, and safety compliance
  • Support Client's commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence

 

Skills Required

  • Previous field supervision experience in industrial or environmental services
  • Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning, environmental services, and emergency response operations
  • Understanding of HAZMAT handling, confined-space entry, and other safety regulations
  • Proven leadership and team management skills in field operations
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and supervise multiple projects and crews
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in dynamic field environments
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with staff, management, and clients
  • Familiarity with waste handling, contaminated material removal, and environmental compliance procedures


Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Operations, or related field (preferred)
  • HAZMAT, confined-space, and other industry certifications (required or preferred depending on project)


Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check
  • Work Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm


Pay Rate/Salary

  • $31.00 - $40.00/hr. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location
