Job Summary

The Machine Operator plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery. This position involves operating and maintaining equipment, supporting production goals, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

 

Job Description

  • Participate in pre-job briefings and daily toolbox meetings
  • Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on equipment at assigned location
  • Monitor equipment performance and report any issues, malfunctions, or deviations
  • Ensure equipment is prepared and delivered in alignment with operational needs
  • Assist in troubleshooting and participate in failure investigations when required
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery
  • Follow manufacturing system guidelines to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Shift: 2nd shift, 2:30pm - 11pm

 

Skills Required

  • Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
  • Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions
  • Strong attention to safety and quality standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus

 

Education

  • Required: High school diploma or GED

Pay rate

  • $19 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
