Job Summary
The Machine Operator plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery. This position involves operating and maintaining equipment, supporting production goals, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
Job Description
- Participate in pre-job briefings and daily toolbox meetings
- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on equipment at assigned location
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues, malfunctions, or deviations
- Ensure equipment is prepared and delivered in alignment with operational needs
- Assist in troubleshooting and participate in failure investigations when required
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery
- Follow manufacturing system guidelines to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Shift: 2nd shift, 2:30pm - 11pm
Skills Required
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to safety and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
Education
- Required: High school diploma or GED

Pay rate
- $19 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
- 2nd shift premium: $1 per hour
