Our client develops, manufactures, markets, distributes, and sells orthopedic implant devices, related surgical instrumentation, and biologic services. Many of the roles are temp to hire with our client. All of their buildings are air-conditioned and a comfortable work environment. 

 

Job Summary

The Machining Inspector is responsible for inspecting manufactured products to ensure they meet production standards and regulatory requirements, including applicable FDA and ISO standards. This role supports quality assurance efforts by verifying product conformity and maintaining compliance with established procedures and guidelines.

 

Job Description

  • Work from written instructions, specifications, and guidelines to perform inspections.
  • Adjust offsets as necessary to maintain dimensional integrity.
  • Inspect products with minimal assistance to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Meet established production standards and quality expectations.
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain required records.
  • Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as applicable to job duties.
  • Comply with all departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); document and report any process deviations to the Team Leader.
  • Adhere to all departmental safety policies and procedures.
  • Apply the company Quality System and comply with applicable federal and international standards.
  • Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
  • Shift: 2nd 3:15PM - 1:45AM

 

Skills Required

  • No prior experience required
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to perform basic product inspections.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work effectively with hands.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and procedures accurately.

 

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required.

 

Pay Rate

  • $19 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
