Job Summary

This entry-level role supports daily well and facility operations, including monitoring gas-lifted wells, ESPs, compression systems, and surface equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. The position involves performing routine field activities, collecting and tracking operational data, assisting with minor maintenance, and coordinating with engineering and support teams to optimize well performance. The ideal candidate is eager to learn industry procedures, follows established processes, and provides reliable technical and administrative support.

 

Job Description

  • Responsible for well operations, gas lifted wells, ESP's, three phase separation, gas compression, control board operation, pipeline operation, minor maintenance of valve, pumps and rotating equipment and assisting the other operators and craft personnel in their duties.
  • Prepares for and performs maintenance, taking readings, doing rounds, issuing work permits, following procedures, initiating work requests, writing procedures, and interfacing with support groups.
  • Proactively monitors well and equipment performance, take appropriate action to maximize production.
  • Works with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data (corrosion, paraffin, soap injection, etc.)
  • Interfaces with Engineering for data gathering requests.
  • Tracks test compression data.
  • Conducts fluid levels with echo meter.

 

Skills Required

  • Entry level, typically 0-3 years of experience.
  • Provides technical and/or administrative support.
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn terminology, applications and standard procedures for performing the job function.
  • Performs routine, basic office/field tasks using established procedures

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Degree or GED

 

Additional Requirements

  • Work Schedule will be: 8 Days On/6 Days Off (10Hr Days)

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Pay Rate: $35.30 - $40.58/hr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.)
