Our new client operates two large-scale advanced manufacturing facilities in Central Texas. These sites support 24/7 production of highly specialized technology components used across multiple industries. The campuses include clean-room environments, engineering labs, and high-volume production lines that require a diverse, skilled workforce.

 

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for supporting wafer fabrication processes in a highly controlled production environment. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing tools, systems, and products, along with strict adherence to security, health, safety, and environmental standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and able to work effectively in a cleanroom setting.

 

Job Description

  • Monitor, evaluate, and interact with computerized manufacturing equipment and software systems
  • Identify, communicate, and help resolve issues that may impact manufacturing performance
  • Perform extended periods of computer-based work, with occasional physical activity such as walking and light lifting
  • Follow strict operational protocols and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance
  • Wear cleanroom protective equipment (cleanroom suit) for extended periods
  • Collaborate with team members to support production goals and maintain workflow efficiency

 

Skills Required

  • Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred
  • Relevant technical or manufacturing experience is an asset
  • Strong computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new software systems
  • Comfortable working with automated and computerized manufacturing tools
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • High attention to detail and adherence to procedures

 

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required

 

Additional Requirements

  • Shift (Night): 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (includes weekend work)
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

 

Pay rate

  • $23.20 per hour (Compensation is offered range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
