Job Summary

Join us as a Project Quality Manager in the Offshore Industry, bringing over 5 years of expertise in Project Quality Management. As an ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our Quality Management System during projects and bids. Leverage your knowledge in welding, NDE processes, and coating applications to conduct audits, manage non-conformities, and lead initiatives promoting quality excellence across the organization.

 

Job Description

  • Provide the necessary support covering assigned Offshore Projects and Bids regarding quality contractual issues both during tender and project execution phase.
  • Support the implementation of the Company / Project Quality Management System activities.
  • Ensure that the integrity of the Company / Project QMS is maintained when changes are made to the Company QMS.
  • Ensure that the correct implementation of the Company / Project QMS is checked and monitored through the planning / execution of Company / Project Quality Audits.
  • Conduct external audits to Vendors and Subcontractors QMS, as assigned.
  • Participates to Management meetings, to ensure coordination between Quality activities and Project Management Activities.
  • Ensure the preparation and issue of Quality Control Specifications, Quality Control Plans, Inspection and Test Plans for the works, coordinating and agreeing the checks by the Technical Departments and Client.
  • Ensure the issue of quality requirements to be incorporated, in the contractual documents, with Vendors and Subcontractors and organizations in charge of works.
  • Support the management of nonconformities.
  • Promote appropriate actions to prevent or eliminate potential non-conformities and their causes.
  • Support the management of Client’s Cost of Non-Quality process.
  • Ensure knowledge and awareness of Quality requirements within the Project Teams, also performing Quality Training Activities.
  • Collect and analyze project quality data in order to organize and lead the Company / Project Quality Management Reviews.
  • Support the management of Client Lessons Learned process.
  • Support the Client Customer Satisfaction process implementation.

 

Skills Required

  • Five 5 (Plus) years of quality experience with a demonstrable track record in Project Quality Management in the Offshore Industry.
  • Previous experience in auditing Quality Management Systems based on the ISO 9001:2015 Standard.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification.
  • Must have working knowledge of Welding Processes and their application.
  • Must have working knowledge of NDE Processes and their application.
  • Must have working knowledge of Coating (Nace) Processes and their application.
  • Must have experience in the development of ITPs, Project Quality Plans, and Quality Control Inspection Plans.
  • Must have working knowledge of QC Inspection Equipment Calibration Practices.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the Management of Change process.
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in EPC.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or five (5) years of Project Quality Offshore experience as a Project Quality Engineer in the Offshore Industry.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Office / field environment. Must have flexibility in working hours to achieve assigned responsibilities.
  • Must be able to travel internationally to Project Job Sites (assigned projects).
  • Must be able to obtain / maintain a valid Passport to travel internationally.
  • Must be able to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to touch, feel, manipulate; reach with hands and arms.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 15 lbs. and occasionally may be required to lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
