Job Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Process Operator to join our team and support regeneration operations. This role is critical to ensuring that production activities run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an industrial setting and a strong commitment to teamwork, operational excellence, and workplace safety.

 

Job Description

  • Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols and product quality standards.
  • Follow documented procedures and work instructions.
  • Monitor operational equipment regularly to ensure consistent performance.
  • Handle loading and unloading of materials from regional deliveries.
  • Sort bottles by size and resin type, operate forklifts, evacuate bottles to produce resin batches, and manage the full cycle of SDI product filling and testing.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet group objectives and divisional targets.
  • Provide responsive support to both internal and external customer requirements.
  • Shift Schedule: 06:00 AM - 2:30 PM

 

Skills Required

  • Ability to sit, stand, see, and hear throughout the workday.
  • Frequent walking, writing, and use of a computer.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to climb stairs and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Must be prepared to work in extreme temperatures (up to 120°F or down to 0°F).
  • Potential exposure to dust, dirt, concrete, and other industrial conditions; hearing protection may be required.
  • Proficiency in operating computers and effective communication via phone and written formats is essential.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an industrial or plant environment.
  • Understanding of chemicals commonly used in industrial processes.
  • Completion of safety and operational training specific to the site (including HAZWOPER certification).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications.

 

Education

  • High School Diploma / GED

 

Additional Requirements

  • Forklift operation experience is a plus.
  • For Carbon-specific roles: Completion of 40-hour hazardous waste operations training required.
