Job Summary

The Safety Documentation Specialist is responsible for developing ISO 45001-required written safety programs and identifying associated training and documentation requirements. These safety programs are designed to be used by front-line leaders and drive safety performance improvements, as well as compliance with relevant regulations.

 

Job Description

  • Write, edit, and finalize ISO 45001-related procedures
  • Verify safety documentation aligns with current regulatory standards in the US and Canada, but can be scaled globally
  • Partner with EHS, Operations, and legal to write and obtain comments for the draft procedures
  • Maintain consistent document control, versioning

 

Skills Required

  • Experience in ISO 45001 procedures, documentation, and technical writing for safety compliance and management system programs
  • Strong understanding of the US and Canadian safety regulatory requirements
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Ability to translate complex safety regulations into clear, practical instructions for location managers

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Degree or Equivalent

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check
  • Shift Hours: Mon to Fri, 8-hour shift

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • $35.00/ - $45.00hr. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
