Job Summary

This role translates local tax legislations into hard figures and required a multi-disciplinary approach and collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting ang payments

 

Job Description

  • Tax Reporting
    • Preparing data collection for tax reporting purposes
    • Perform accurate preparation and timely submission of tax reporting, applying globally standardized processes
    • Coordination of external providers assisting with tax reporting, including but not limited to return submission and applying tax certificates
    • Ensure tax is paid on time, considering internal controls
    • Adequately follow up on pending tax refunds
  • Tax Accounting
    • Prepare account reconciliations for tax accounts
    • Calculate and coordinate tax provisions and return to provisions in collaboration with the General Accounting team and Controllership
    • Coordinate correct tax journal entries with the General Accounting team
    • Cooperate with internal stakeholders to complete the monthly and year-end closing
  • Audit Support
    • Prepare data requests to support in (external) audit requests in collaboration with Specialist Tax Operations and/or Global Tax
    • Keep internal tax files up to date with correct and accurate document storage (audit readiness)
  • Transfer Pricing Support
    • Prepare data requests to comply with transfer pricing requirements in collaboration with Specialist Tax Operations and/or Global Tax

  • Operational Excellence
    • Execute effective end-to-end tax processes in collaboration with the other internal stakeholders, such as accounts payable, accoount receivable, procuremetn, and supply chain
    • Assure and report quality of outputs (completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency)
    • Identify and support resolution of operational issues


Skills Required

  • 5-10 years' experience in tax reporting and/or (tax) accounting
  • SAP knowledge is considered a big plus
  • Experience in an international environment is considered a plus
  • Excellence written & oral communication skills
  • Committed, hardworking, and able to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team player
  • Possess flexibility, integrity, and honesty; leads by example
  • "Can-do" mentality

 

 Education/Training/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in tax, accounting, finance or economics

 

Additional Requirements

  • Tax certificates/education is considered a abig plus
  • Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check


Pay Rate/Salary

  • $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills and market factors
