Job Summary

If you're interested in an Expert Level Security Officer job, then this is the best role for you! This role is responsible for patrolling buildings and grounds of industrial plants, commercial establishments, docks, logging camp areas, or work sites to ensure safety and security. The role requires familiarity with standard security concepts, practices, and procedures, and the ability to perform a variety of tasks under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity, judgment, and latitude is expected.

Job Description

• Periodically patrol buildings and surrounding grounds
• Perform guardhouse (gate safeguarding) duties
• Conduct foot patrols and mobile patrols
• Respond to emergencies, including CPR when required
• Work under general supervision and report to a supervisor or manager
• Support 24-hour security operations

Skills Required

• Experience Level: Entry (1–3 years) or Mid (4–6 years of experience)
• Knowledge of standard security concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ability to exercise judgment and plan tasks using limited experience
• Capability to work independently under general supervision
• Physical ability to perform patrol duties
• CPR knowledge or willingness to respond to emergency situations

Education/Training/Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Hawaii Guard Card (required)

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
• Worker Shift Start Time: Three shifts based on business needs.
• No guarantee on start time

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

11:30 PM – 8:00 AM

• Core Working Hours: 24-hour security operations
• Hours per Day: 8–12 hours
• Hours per Week: 40 hours, with possibility of overtime
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Officers will not carry any type of weapons
• Driving Required: Yes – Company Driver

Pay Rate/Salary

• Salary: $25.00 per hour
