Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as Administrative Assistant. You will provide administrative and coordination support to the External Relations team, including data entry, scheduling, document preparation, event assistance, inventory tracking, and responding to donor and internal inquiries.

 

Job Description

  • Provide administrative support to the department, including printing, filing, scanning, large mailings, data entry, calendaring, assembly projects and ordering supplies.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Represent Children’s by attending and providing support at on and off-site events as needed
  • Support teams by maintaining organization of storage areas as needed.
  • Support the coordination of inventorying materials for projects and events, as well as ensuring items are restocked and inventoried upon event / project completion as needed.
  • Prepare correspondence and reports requiring some understating of technical matters; respond to routine and non-routine inquiries using established policies and procedures.
  • Act as a solutions provider and customer services representative to potential donors, prospects, and internal customers while providing administrative support to External Relations programs.
  • Perform other administrative duties and special projects assigned.

 

Skills Required

  • Must possess excellent project management skills, thoughtful leadership and good verbal and written communication to effectively support and implement specific External Relations projects and program duties.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High school diploma with relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Administration, or related field preferred
