Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Terminal Administrative Assistant to join our team onsite in La Porte, TX. This is a full-time contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance.

 

Job Description

  • Provide administrative support to the terminal operations and plant managers.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Serve as the point of contact for terminal-related inquiries, providing timely assistance and resolution.
  • Perform research related to invoicing, cylinder balances, and account information.
  • Manage administrative operations including filing systems, supply inventory, and documentation.
  • Data entry of account information, contract maintenance, pricing updates, and customer credits using SAP.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
  • Support office management duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

 

Skills Required

  • Prior administrative experience
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required

 

Additional Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (advanced functions preferred)
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise software systems
