Job Description
- Independently perform high-quality quantitative RT-PCR workflows, including nucleic acid extraction
- Troubleshoot and analyze data while maintaining accuracy and consistency using standard software tools
- Execute next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation protocols for RNA and DNA workflows, both manual and automated
- Track and document work through multiple LIMS and automation systems
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and lab operations support
- Contribute to a respectful, collaborative, and productive laboratory team environment
- Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, and sound scientific judgment in daily tasks
Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques (RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, PCR, NGS library preparation)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for data integrity and compliance
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify challenges and drive tasks to completion
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general data analysis tools

Education/Training/Certifications
- MS or higher degree in Molecular Biology or a related field
- Experience with LIMS platforms and electronic lab documentation systems preferred
- Experience with liquid-handling automation (e.g., Biomek, Tecan, Mantis) is a plus
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
- Shift: 08:00 AM
Pay Rate/Salary
- Estimated Salary: $30.00 to $38.19 per hour based on qualifications.
