Job Summary

Ware seeking a reliable and detail-oriented IT Computer Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift. This position plays a critical role in monitoring and controlling global IT systems, software, and infrastructure, ensuring that projects and priorities across the organization are executed efficiently. The successful candidate will undergo one week of training on the 1st shift to obtain necessary credentials and systems knowledge.

 

Job Description

  • Monitor and control global IT systems and projects, including load adjustments as required.
  • Oversee batch balancing and operational workflow on all systems.
  • Utilize Omega OCM / Cloud software and various in-house software and peripheral systems.
  • Interact with internal and external users, vendors, and support teams.
  • Monitor system alerts, identify issues, and perform troubleshooting.
  • Respond to and resolve support calls from internal and global users.
  • Maintain operational logs, reports, and documentation.
  • Training is 1week on 1st shift (6:30AM - 2:30PM) to obtain credentials and systems training
  • Shift: 3rd Shift (10:30 PM – 6:30 AM)

 

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience, training, or education.
  • Proficient with command-line tools, programs, and scripts.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Comfortable with system alerts and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong sense of productivity and reporting.
  • Ability to stand, crouch, stoop, and walk regularly.
  • Capable of pushing and pulling carts and equipment.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently.

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

Pay Rate

  • $25 per hour + $2.50 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift
