Job Description

  • May be responsible for preventive maintenance of equipment in assigned areas.
  • R&D positions may also include electronic data collection in field and laboratory settings utilizing PC and handheld data collection devices.
  • Manufacturing (Production) positions may also include organizing, moving, and placing seed into storage, maintaining inventory accuracy utilizing electronic inventory systems.
  • This is a 100% travel position with a typical 2-week traveling and 1-week home time schedule.
  • Traveling can be within a region if necessary.

 

Skills Required

  • Experience in operating, maintaining, and repairing farm equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and produce quality results.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and coaching and effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge in agronomy or related agriculture field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and work irregular and overtime hours as needed.
  • Must have a willingness to learn new skills and perform various tasks.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree in related field preferred.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass drug screen.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license as this position will utilize company vehicles to travel.
  • Shift: AM - 05:00 AM

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Estimated Salary: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour based on qualifications.
