Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Material Handler to join our warehouse operations team. The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for executing product and material handling within the warehouse, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and issuing of inventory in compliance with established company policies, procedures, and quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) standards.
Job Description
- Perform all warehouse duties: receiving, inspecting, labeling, storing, picking, packing, issuing, and disposing of materials and inventory.
- Accept supplier deliveries, ensuring condition and accuracy of incoming items against packing lists or purchase orders; report any discrepancies.
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training and certification required).
- Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions and shipments.
- Optimize and maintain warehouse bin locations and storage efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist in full physical inventory audits.
- Support material management initiatives including kitting and Kanban point-of-use replenishment.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with internal customers, delivery drivers, and warehouse team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.
- Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday, weekends and overtime as needed
Skills Required
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations.
- Proficient in general warehouse duties
- Certified forklift operation
- Strong communication with team members and external drivers
- Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks, including lifting items 30–50 lbs using safe lifting practices.
- Strong attention to safety and detail in all tasks.
- Forklift certification required (or willingness to complete upon hire)
- Completion of NEST training required
Education
- Highschool diploma or GED
Pay Rate
- $21 per hour and higher depending on experience
