Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Sales, this role provides the opportunity to represent LeverageTek IT Solutions to prospective organizations whom we haven’t had the opportunity to do business with (yet). The focus of this role is on the development of new business. You are a relationship builder with high EQ and you possess the “hunter’s mentality”. You have a competitive streak that is satisfied only when your company is the one signing the contract. You have a cast iron work ethic. Personal integrity is at the root of all decisions you make. You are tenacious and have earned a track record reflecting success based on your ability to work through challenges and see things through to success. Responsibilities

  • Expand LeverageTek’s presence by continuously meeting new customers and fostering new relationships.
  • Conduct a high-volume of targeted cold/warm calls and emails.
  • Achieve aggressive weekly/monthly targets related to prospecting activities by scheduling (and attending) meetings with prospective buyers.
  • Act as the single point of contact for prospective customers.
  • Schedule and attend customer meetings and maintain relationships in person and via video call.
  • Frequently attend business meetings at the customer’s work site with both customers and consultants.
  • Attend customer events and other relationship building activities.
  • Clearly communicate your customers’ staffing needs by providing concise descriptions of their open positions to LeverageTek’s recruitment team.
  • Assist in the tailoring of candidates for presentation to the customer.
  • Work closely with candidates who have been selected for interviews to provide them with further insight into the role and organization they are interviewing with.
  • Maintain strong relationships with consultants while they are on site in your territory.
  • Resolve customer and consultant issues and handle complaints in a timely manner.
  • Commit to continuous learning by researching new technology trends and product offerings.
  • Provide financial and growth forecasts for your territory.

 

Work Experience & Education

  • Proven sales achievement with demonstrated experience meeting and exceeding sales quotas and KPIs
  • Proven experience in a ‘hunter’ sales role focused on driving revenue, generating sales leads and converting leads to sales
  • Strong emotional intelligence and relationship management skills
  • Ability to be pleasantly persistent while facing rejection with a smile on your face like only a true sales professional can appreciate
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience

Working Conditions

Fast-paced environment subject to multiple interruptions, changes in workload, competing priorities, and deadline situations. Exposed to and expected to respectfully interact with a variety of attitudes and personalities

A vehicle is required to perform this position. Mileage is reimbursed at the current Government of Canada rate.
