Position Scope
The Vice President of CE&I will provide strategic and operational leadership for PACK Power's CE&I Division, overseeing the successful execution, growth, and profitability of the business.
This individual will be responsible for developing the people, processes, client relationships, and operational strategies necessary to scale the CE&I group while maintaining PACK Power's commitment to safety, quality, schedule, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
The VP will work closely with executive leadership, project management, estimating, preconstruction, field operations, safety, finance, and business development to ensure the CE&I Division is positioned for sustainable growth and consistently delivers successful projects.
This is a highly visible leadership role for an individual who can operate strategically while remaining connected to the field and the people executing the work
Location Details: This position can be located at or near any of our office locations: Denver, Colorado or Fargo, North Dakkota. This position will travel as needed to regional offices or site locations.

Our CE&I Division delivers integrated controls, electrical, and instrumentation solutions for industrial and mission-critical infrastructure projects. From utility interconnects through final terminations, our CE&I Division supports data centers, water and wastewater treatment facilities, natural gas facilities, and industrial process environments with safe, reliable, and execution-focused delivery.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall strategic direction and growth plan for the CE&I Division.
- Identify new markets, customers, project opportunities, and strategic partnerships that align with PACK Power's capabilities.
- Establish annual and long-term business objectives for revenue, profitability, backlog, utilization, and market growth.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of future CE&I opportunities in partnership with Business Development and Estimating.
- Evaluate market trends and emerging opportunities within data centers, industrial facilities, natural gas, water/wastewater, utility infrastructure, and other mission-critical markets.
- Participate in executive-level planning, forecasting, and company-wide strategic initiatives.
- Provide oversight and direction for CE&I project execution from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
- Establish operational standards, processes, and best practices that improve project execution and consistency.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to customer expectations.
- Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions before issues become significant.
- Partner with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Field Operations Managers, Foremen, and other operational leaders to remove obstacles and drive accountability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, owners, general contractors, engineering firms, and industry partners.
- Serve as an executive-level representative of PACK Power with strategic clients.
- Participate in business development meetings, project pursuits, presentations, and negotiations.
- Help identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and increase repeat business.
- Promote a culture of ownership, teamwork, continuous improvement, and accountability.
- Develop organizational structures that support both current operations and future growth.
- Coach and mentor Project Managers, Construction Managers, Field Operations leaders, and other key personnel.
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution, quality, productivity, and field operations.
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable codes, specifications, contractual requirements, and PACK Power standards.
Education and Work Experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical, controls, instrumentation, industrial construction, mission-critical construction, or a related industry.
- Significant leadership experience overseeing large-scale operations, multiple projects, or a business/division.
- Demonstrated experience managing project financial performance and profitability.
- Proven ability to develop and execute business growth strategies.
- Experience leading and developing Project Managers, Construction Managers, Field Operations leaders, and other operational teams.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction, controls, instrumentation, commissioning, and industrial or mission-critical project environments.
- Experience with data centers, industrial facilities, utilities, natural gas, water/wastewater, or similar infrastructure is highly preferred.
- Experience with construction ERP/project management systems and business intelligence/reporting tools preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build strong relationships across Operations, Project Management, Finance, Estimating, Procurement, and other business functions.
- Strong understanding of construction schedules, critical path methodology, cost-loaded schedules, and progress measurement.
- High level of business and financial acumen with a strong understanding of how project execution impacts profitability, cash flow, and overall company performance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a rapidly growing, fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong attention to data integrity, reporting accuracy, and process consistency.
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and company locations as required.
