We are seeking a passionate and experienced Agile practitioner with a proven track record in coaching teams and facilitating Scrum processes. You will play a crucial role in guiding our Agile development teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment, and ensuring the successful implementation of Agile principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Coaching:
- Agile Methodology Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, and the ability to adapt them to specific project needs.
- Team Coaching: Coach Agile teams on best practices, principles, and techniques, helping them to improve their performance and effectiveness.
- Culture Change: Facilitate cultural change within the organization, promoting collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and best practices with the team, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Scrum Master:
- Scrum Process Facilitation: Facilitate Scrum events, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Agile Principles & Practices: Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices, promoting a collaborative and iterative approach to development.
- Team Support: Support the team in resolving conflicts, improving communication, and maximizing their productivity.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the Scrum process and implement changes to enhance team efficiency.
- Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate with all stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and transparent environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience working as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master, ideally within the insurance industry.
- Agile Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Agile Methodology Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- Team Facilitation: Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to guide team discussions and workshops.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and foster collaboration.
- Problem-Solving: A resourceful and adaptable problem-solver with a "get things done" attitude.
