Key responsibilities: | |
- Partner with NA business leaders to develop and execute integrated communication plans that support regional and global business goals and drive engagement.
- Crafting high-impact narratives and messaging for a variety of internal and external audiences with impeccable attention to detail, and demonstrable results. We expect the mix to be 70% internal and 30% external communications
- Manage and optimize the use of internal communications channels, ensuring message clarity, alignment, and consistency.
- Driving intranet engagement will be a key ongoing task, as well as producing and maintaining editorial oversight of NA intranet content
- Supporting and delivering change management communications programs.
- Provide hands-on support during crisis situations, including rapid response planning, message development, and stakeholder alignment.
- Build strong relationships across business units and influence key stakeholders to adopt best communication practices.
- Draft corporate communications, including announcements, presentations, town hall content, blog posts, and emails.
- Advise, support, train, and prepare leaders on internal and external communications messaging, strategies, and tactics that support business goals.
- Partner closely with global and regional communications counterparts, supporting key projects and events, including global town halls.
- Strong intercultural acumen and influence, sees the big picture and is able to problem solve and connect with diverse teams
- Measure effectiveness of communication efforts and continuously refine strategy based on data-driven insights.
- Ensure all deadlines are met and good quality control measures are put in place on outgoing communications
- Stay current on communications trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Work experience and attributes: | |
Essential: - 10+ years of experience in communications.
- Solid communications experience in-house or with an agency.
- Proven experience leading change communications for fast-moving, matrixed businesses.
- Experience with a platform business.
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and gain buy-in from individuals at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written skills – the ability to adapt to corporate, digital, and informal styles.
- You are creative and can tell excellent stories.
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Microsoft Teams Live, Oak Engage or equivalent intranet, and digital channels such as LinkedIn.
