Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Manager with experience working in working in a startup environment and selling in a B2B market.

Reporting to the Marketing Leader for RWDI Ventures, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, operations, science, and software development to align marketing efforts with product and business objectives.

As a senior contributor, you will be expected to operate with a high level of autonomy, taking ownership of key marketing initiatives while being supported by a collaborative team. You will be relied upon to execute strategies with minimal oversight, using your expertise to prioritize and deliver against key marketing goals in a fast-paced startup environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation: Own the development and execution of lead generation strategies, including email marketing, content campaigns, webinars, and paid media initiatives, to drive high-quality leads for our sales pipeline.

• Product Marketing: Collaborate with the product team to refine product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market materials that effectively communicate the value of our solutions in a competitive landscape.

• Multi-Channel Marketing: Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, and event channels to amplify brand presence, customer engagement, and market differentiation.

• Content Strategy & Creation: Lead content creation efforts, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and multimedia, ensuring alignment with brand voice and mission while tailoring messaging to different target audiences.

• Event Strategy & Execution: Coordinate and manage industry events, webinars, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

• Marketing Analytics: Drive data-driven decision-making by tracking and analyzing key performance metrics (e.g., website traffic, conversion rates, and campaign performance), and adjusting strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.

 

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally within a B2B SaaS or climate tech startup environment.

• Proven success in developing and executing lead generation, product marketing, and multi-channel campaigns (digital and traditional).

• Strong experience in content creation, with an ability to write and craft messaging that resonates with diverse audiences and aligns with business goals.

• Passion for climate action, sustainability, and purpose-driven work.

• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup, with a proven ability to self-manage, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and adjust strategies for optimal performance.

• Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, etc.).

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
